Marc Chafiian is a Co-founder of Epic Road. He is passionate about adventure travel and conservation and loves to share his travel experiences with like minded global nomads. Marc likes to tour the world spontaneously and deliberately in search of the novel and to find new ways for tourism to work for the benefit of the planet. Marc's vision is to bring wildlife conservation, climate change and land/marine conservation to the forefront of all travelers’ consciousness. His favorite destinations include the beaches of northern Mozambique, Faru Faru Lodge in Tanzania, the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Svalbard, the Okavango Delta, Montauk and the mountains surrounding Salta in Argentina. Marc’s favorite travel experiences include watching giant leatherback turtles lay golf ball sized eggs in the sand, sleeping under the open desert sky, satellite-tagging sharks in the name of conservation, sailing a traditional dhow in Mozambique, hiking glaciers in the polar circle, and diving with bumphead parrotfish in the Indian Ocean.
