Contemporary and richly textured, Katanswa House is designed in response to its remarkable location and proximity to Virunga Mountains. The use of local materials like volcanic rock, river stone and oven-red clay bricks connects the structure to its setting. With sustainability as a fundamental design focus, it treads lightly on the land and offers an intimate engagement with the surrounding landscape.
Accommodating up to 8 guests, the villa comprises two spacious suites, a junior master suite and a lavish master suite with its own heated pool. It is serviced with a private chef and host, and amenities include exquisite open living spaces, indoor and outdoor replaces, pools, a gym and media room.
