Spitsbergen Isfjorden Kayak Expedition

Isfjorden Kayak Expedition

Isfjorden is the largest fjord in Spitsbergen, Svalbard and therefore makes it one of the most breath-taking places for an Arctic kayaking tour. During this six-day safari you paddle by massive glacial faces, like the Sveabreen, and discover local bird species as well as polar bears. The ultimate destinations of this safari are Discksonfjorden and Kapp Smith, where you will be picked up by Polarcirkel boats and brought back to Longyearbyen.

What We Love

  • Spend a day out on the water surrounded by awe-inspiring views of the crystal water paralleled by rugged mountains and glaciers

  • Learn about the rich local history while observing the remains of mining, hunting, trapping, and exploration expeditions
